Special attention is paid to accurate measurements of a field form in near and far zones when developing video pulse signal radiators. Basic requirements to receiving antennas are their small size in comparison to the spatial duration of the rise time of the measured pulse and their band-width.

The purpose of our work is developing of sensor for measuring electric field strength of an electromagnetic video pulse that have some uniform amplitude frequency characteristics (AFC) in a wide band. Basic principles for similar sensors are discussed by H. F. Harmuth [1-4].
