The techniques of microwave measurements combining multifrequency measurements and transversal scanning for objects located behind dielectric layer are presented. Some radar images of simple objects such as cylinders are presented. The images were obtained by synthesizing in real time the distance dependencies of reflectivity using data of multifrequency measurements and transversal scan. Some approaches to edge detecting have been developed. The technique analogous SAR but taking into account nearzone properties has been elaborated.
