The mechanisms of radiation and pulsed-field radiation pattern forming for rod and dipole (including the TEM-horn) antennas were analyzed using the experimental data obtained by measuring the parameters of the UWB pulse fields which are radiated by a long rod antenna excited by a short pulse (of nanosecond duration range).
