FDTD method based electromagnetic solver for printed-circuit analysis
Last modified: 2014-06-28
Abstract
An electromagnetic solver for printed-circuit analysis is presented. The electromagnetic simulator is based on the finite-difference time-domain method with first-order Mur's absorbing boundary conditions. The solver environment comprises a layout graphic editor for circuit topology preparation and a data postprocessor for presenting the calculation results. The solver has been applied to the analysis of printed-circuit components such as printed antenna, microstrip discontinuities, etc.
