Abstract

Investigations of electromagnetic waves propagation at the planar lines with multilayer substrates including layers with gyrotropic properties are very interesting not only for creation new waveguide lines but also for designing microwave functional devices. At this paper we are discussing the properties of shielded microstrip line with ferrite-dielectric substrate with parallel to microstrip bias magnetic field. The cutoff effects for such type of lines for perpendicular to substrate bias magnetic field were discussed early [1, 2]. There its were shown that dispersion characteristics for such lines have wide bandstop range. These effects could be used for performing tunable microwave rejection filters.
