Abstract

When solving practical problems of field measurement of different antenna systems one has often to face the problem of shortage or full absence of phase data. This problem can be formulated as a radiator field restoration through peak measurements, it is classified as incorrect nonlinear problems.

It was considered for a long time that the solution of field restoration problem in peak measurements has no simple solution. However, recently it was established that this problem has only one solution in the multidimensional case, but the algorithmic provision of its solution is a complex problem as usual. There are well-known algorithms making it possible to restore the two-dimensional field through its module observation with various confidence. Iterative algorithms are effective enough. However, they require a good primary approximation and have a slow convergence.

In this work the direct algorithm is developed based on the analysis of zeroes of two-dimensional polynomials where the given limitations are absent.
