The optimisation of the spatially distributed radiator system using the energy criteria in the pulse mode
Last modified: 2014-06-30
Abstract
The active location systems are used widely for the information obtaining about the dissimilarities of the media where the waves of the various physical nature can propagate. The radiation devices of these systems have to provide the radiation energy concentration within the space segments of interest in addition to the reduction of the undesired radiation within some other segments. In the radiating antenna arrays the desired field is formed by the interference of the waves radiated by the individual radiators. The high distance resolution of the location systems is reached by using the reduction of the exploring single pulse radiation time or by using the complex exploring pulses. Both cases the radiating waves represent the processes which can be described hardly in the frequency domain. Consequently the problem of the radiating antenna array optimisation in the pulse mode is of interest.
