Abstract

The problem of coupling of a semi-infinite rectangular waveguide with a resonator through the narrow slot in their common end wall is solved. The slot is completely or partially filled with a dissipative dielectric. The changes in the behavior of the reflection and absorption coefficients of the feeding power are studied as a function of the dielectric constant and the thickness of the diaphragm.
