Active loop sensor for receiving pulse magnetic fields of nanosecond duration

The active magnetic field sensor consisting of a loop with 40 mm in diameter and a transimpedance amplifier has been developed. The rise time of the transient response of the sensor is 0.45 ns and the conversion factor of the magnetic field strength to the voltage at the sensor output is 2.5 V/Am−1. The amplifier dimensions are 10×8×25 mm.
