Abstract

In this paper we consider joint spatial processing systems for radars with phased antenna array. They combine the target detection against background of interfering signals and direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of their sources. We give an example of such processing system based on common adaptive lattice filters (ALF) and quantitatively assess its efficiency in radars with planar antenna array while accounting for a variety of decorrelation factors.
