Abstract

L-band linear small element AESA for airborne radar is considered. Main problems and design features of linear airborne L-band AESA are shown. Key characteristics of AESA devices and typical radiation patterns of linear L-band AESA are presented. Results of L-band airborne AESA energetic efficiency estimation are shown. Design opportunity of two-dimensional AESA based on linear AESA devices is considered.
