Abstract

This report describes investigations into the antenna mutual coupling (MC) effect on channel capacity of multiple input multiple output wireless communication system under the assumption of availability of channel state information (CSI) at the receiver (CSI is not available at the transmitter side). The investigations are carried out for different spacing between array antenna elements producing a varying effect of MC on the resulting MIMO channel capacity.
