Frequency and angular dependences of new generation of an absorbing carpet material of the "Ternovnik" type made by "Radiostrim" Ltd. are investigated. Spectra of effective dielectric permittivity of a single-layer covering in a frequency range of 1.5-39 GHz are determined. It is established that the frequency dispersion of permittivity is described well by the modified Debye polarization model.
Measurements of materials using dihedral corner reflectors in anechoic chamber has shown that the scattered field is characterized by almost uniform in the mean level of reflection in the sector of rotation angles of 0-60 degrees.
Tests of one- and two-layers coverings of the improved version of microwave absorber of the "Ternovnik" type have been carried out.
