New broadband microstrip antenna design

The numerical simulation results of several broadband microstrip antenna designs, which are not described in the literature, are presented. Frequency band expansion according to the criteria of a matching is achieved by applying a three-layered dielectric, resonator with a translucent wall and additional extra scatterers. 41% bandwidth is provided for the matching level VSWR < 2. Numerically obtained results of an input impedance and radiation patterns (RP) are given.References
