Abstract

A computational algorithm based on modified mode matching technique in developed for finding the guided modes in a waveguide with a complicated cross sectional structure. Some specific futures of developed algorithm are discussed. On the paper the algorithm is presented by example, namely the eigenmodes problem of ridged waveguide with thick ridge in H-plane and as particular cases of this problem reshaped waveguide and ridged waveguide with thin ridge are also considered.
