Abstract

The method of the antennas near field amplitude-phase distribution (APD) measurements accuracy improvement using a linear probe is examined. It is suggested to use linear phased antenna array (PAA) with discrete-commutation phase-shifter (PS) as a probe. For the exception of phasing errors influence on the measurement accuracy of the equivalent APD it is offered to average out the results of near field measurements by the reference phase constant (identical for all elements of probe) and to take into account this phase at the measurement results treatment.
