Abstract

Radiation characteristics (DC, aperture efficiency (AEF), SLL, width pattern) of the offset reflector antenna as a cutting from a paraboloid of rotation was investigated in dependence on cutting displacement from top of a paraboloid. Researches will be carried out on the basis of mathematical model of a parabolic mirror antenna with use of a method of physical optics and with taking account of a shadowing of a mirror with the block of an irradiator. It is shown, that at the fixed mirror aperture size for obtaining maximum DC and AEF the displacement of a mirror should be little less than in the case, when requirement of the complete unshadowing of a mirror with the irradiator is ensured.
