Abstract

The method of analysis of radiation characteristics of electrical dipole placed near impedance cylinder with arbitrary cross section is presented. The method is based on account of cylindrical body peculiarities. This method is intended for the contours, which satisfy Lyapunov's conditions. The main considered property is the property of 2π periodic functions, describing the solution of the diffraction problem. The solution is presented as the Fourier series. The comparison of the given solution with solution obtained by the other known methods is carried out. It has been made the conclusion that the suggested method of calculation of scattered electromagnetic guaranties the stability of the solution and satisfactory accuracy for practice.
