Abstract

The analysis of the dependencies of the eigen frequencies of the defect in an FPS (finite periodic sequence) allows us to establish the basic mechanism of the influence of the defect on the FPS electromagnetic properties. Eigen frequency theory can successfully be used to determine the technical tolerance for each basic element and for the FPS as a whole.
