Abstract

The experimental results of measurements of electromagnetic wave reflection and absorption for some specimens of water foam in free space for the frequency band 8-12 GHz are presented. The specimen thicknesses were in the range 2-110 mm; the range of foaming ratio was 28-55. It has been shown that the reflective and absorption characteristics of the foam absorbing materials depend on the foaming ratio, specimen thickness and time of foam existence.
