Abstract

We present a single reflection hybrid reflector antenna which is based on a Cassegrain antenna in which an array of emitters is introduced conformal to the position of the surface of the small mirror. A method for calculating the radiation field performance of the single-reflection hybrid-reflector antenna is offered. The irradiator is an array antenna of spiral-wire emitters with given geometric parameters, located conformally on the surface bridging the reflector's focal axis or at an angle to it.
