Abstract

The purpose of the paper is the research of a method for the development engineering of antenna systems with improved characteristics; they are made of linear conducting rods with impedance elements inserted into the radiating branches of the antennas. A three-stage calculation procedure is offered, including the operations of the preliminary construction of the mathematical model of the researched antenna system, analysis of its characteristics and then the parametric optimization of the values of the impedance elements and the coordinates of their insertion in the radiating branches of the antennas.
