About plane screen spirals near fields influence on radiation and scattering characteristics

Abstract

Two problems of circular waveguide E01-wave scattering on spiral obstacles were solved. One is for an obstacle in a form of spiral with substrate on a boundary of two semi-infinite dielectric media, another is for a spiral with metallic screen. It was shown that an existence of thin layer near a spiral caused a decreasing of reflectivity in both cases.
