Abstract

The theoretical and experimental researches on electromagnetic scattering from diffraction gratings of different types, including open transmission lines (OTL), revealed that the millimeter-wave open electrodynamical structures providing the basis for functional components and units, feature high efficiency, which makes it possible to get over a series of technological problems and reduce the cost of new de-signs, especially in the field of antenna technology.
