Abstract

The phase synthesis problems according to the prescribed amplitude directivity pattern in variational formulation are considered. The optimization of the used functionals results in appropriate nonlinear equations. Such equations can have non-unique solutions. The finding of these solutions is carried out by a successive approximation method.
