Abstract

Multichannel frequency dividers (multiplexers) are obligatory elements of many radar and communication systems. They are first of all used when signal processing in the real time is needed within the band of several GHz [1].

The frequency dividers using magnetostatic waves (MSW) and resonances (MSR) are perspective devices in spite of the problems connected with low termostability of their electric characteristics. The use of the epitaxial films of yttrium-iron garnet (YIG), barium ferrite (BF) and other ferrites in those devices allows to cover the range of 0.1-100 GHz.

In this work two designs of microwave multichannel frequency dividers for separating signals with broad and narrow frequency bands are considered. The first one uses surface MSW (MSSW) and the second uses the resonances of forward volume MSW (MSFVW).
