Abstract

The generalized method of complex potential [1] allows one to calculate the field of a line of two wires with a circular dielectric cylinder placed between them. This result can be used to calculate the mutual capacitances between the wires of a symmetric delay cable and also between those of a coaxial chamber for calibration of magnetic field strength meters, which provides the possibility to find the wave impedance of each device and wave propagation constant along it.
