The report is dedicated to the first edition of the monograph devoted to life and the scientific work of Sergey Aleksandrovich Schelkunoff, an outstanding expert in the field of technical electrodynamics and antennas. It is based on the materials from Samara, Moscow, Orenburg and Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Massachusetts archives, and on S.A. Schelkunoff’s publications and memoirs. The scientist’s biography facts and papers, little-known at his historic homeland until now, are presented.
