Experimental and theoretical studies of optic – near-IR antennas based on ZnO-nanorod arrays with Ag-film covering
Last modified: 2014-02-19
Abstract
The novel optic antenna circuit was proposed. One is based on ZnO-nanorod array with metal covering film. The arrays of vertically aligned ZnO-nanorod arrays were experimentally fabricated via carbon-thermal reduction process and were covered with Ag-films by means of magnetron sputtering. A task for electromagnetic waves diffraction was solved for the case of single metal-dielectric nano-oscillator as well as for of nano-oscillators (for nano-oscillators array) located at the dielectric-dielectric interface. The experimental results were compared with theoretical one from the view of extinction coefficient for the antennas based on Ag-covered ZnO-nanorod arrays with different length.
