Abstract

This paper discusses the technology and presents the effects of stimulating pre-planting treatment of cereal crop seeds (wheat) and softwood (pine, spruce) by the electromagnetic waves energy of decimeter and millimeter ranges; it also discusses the use of features and results of microwave technologies employed for treatment of seeds before putting them into storage, and soils, secondary soil and water, used for their disembarkation, in order to inactivate pathogenic microbiological organisms and microorganisms in them.

These technologies were developed at the “Science and Research Institute of Applied Electrodynamics, Photonics and Living Systems” of the Kazan National Re-search Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev “KAI” and experimentally tested in the course of field testing at the Agriculture and Forestry enterprises of the Tatarstan Republic (Russia).
