Optimization of the radiation field characteristics of the spherical antenna with helix irradiator

Abstract
In the report the analysis of current density distribution created on the spherical reflector by an irradiator as the helix antenna is performed. The analysis of dependence of current density distribution on the reflector from the irradiator’s geometrical parameters and from its displacement along a focal axis is submitted.
