Abstract

With the Debay's potentials, it is obtained an exact solution for the problem of the electromagnetic radiation interaction with a lamellar spherical lens consisted of an arbitrary number of layers with complex refraction indexes. The solution is constructed by using the translation matrixes, enabling to transfer corresponding boundary conditions between the layers. The elaborated method determines the lens' absorption, scattering, and extinction in terms of the layers' characteristics. This allows one to solve the problem of synthesis of heterogeneous spherical lens with required radio-technical characteristics.
